New Beginnings

Hello!
So as you all may know, I have a job! I work at an ice cream parlor and café...It is my first real job outside of babysitting and I am happy to report that I really like it. Basically, I scoop ice cream, make sandwiches (insert woman's rights joke here, jk), and do any random task which happens often since it is a family owned business. It has been quite a task to juggle my job and everything else, but don't worry I'm here to stay! :)

Hello lovely ladies! Today I have something for you that is quite different than things that I normally do. I want to share my favorite recipe for chocolate chip cookies! I found this a couple months ago on a blog and all of my family and friends (except for Michaela swears up and down that her chocolate chip cookies are better) absolutely love them. I hope you enjoy!Also, sorry I could not put up a video this week, but I have a new job and I am trying to adjust to this whole new schedule of mine! I should be back soon :D

Ladies and Gentlemen, I just had a moment.

Days like these remind me of why exactly I love make videos :) Maybe it is one of those days where I am feeling super sentimental or maybe the fact that I am about to hit 400 subscribers, but I just want to just say thank you! Even though to you it may not seem very significant, I am happy for all the support from both my subscribers and my friends! You guys are amazing! <3 Morena

Summer....Summer....Summer....

Everyone can feel it coming, and quite frankly, I'm completely over school. So, I thought that I would share my summer essentials with you all :)

-My Hammock! This requires a story, so next time I will write about it...but pretty much I am not sure how someone can handle summer with out a one of these! They are so great for laying out and just relaxing. Keep in mind though that the metal stands do have a weight limit!

-Pandora! I explained this in my last post, so if your not sure what it is go check it out. This is so prefect for summer because you can have so many play lists for whatever type of music you want to listen to!

-Dresses! One word: perfection. Dress are absolutely perfect for summer! You do not have to think about a outfit, they look great, and they are so comfortable!

-Favorite Bathing Suit! This year mine is from Victoria Secret, but every year I love buying one really nice and super fun bathing suit. I love this one because the pattern is so intricate and bright, but the down side to this suit is that it does not come with the pad things in the top, so I think I am going to try and put some in...

So guess what.....I have been loving these things. Lets get started.

1) Pandora! So I am assuming that most of you guys have at least heard about Pandora Radio. But on the slim chance that you haven't, it basically plays music based off of what you have liked or disliked and you make stations and stuff. It is pretty fantastic. I made a station called "Today's Hits Radio", which basically plays popular music at the time. I have decided that on this radio I am not going to like or dislike songs so that it can kinda just play whatever, and I really love it. Oh, and it is free if you are wondering.

2) MAC Ladyblush Creamblend Blush! You should already know that I am a makeup girl, but I pretty much love this. It has a great texture, beautiful color, and looks absolutely flawless and natural on your cheeks! The formula is pretty great, so I think that my next MAC purchase will be including " So Sweet, So Easy". This will probably become one of my must have holy grail products! :)

3) Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer! Speaking of holy grail products, this was a splurge for me ($30), but 100% worth it. Two words: Flawless Face. I am dead serious, this stuff is amazing. It stays on all day, works great on both under eye circles but also blemishes and discolorization, and overall makes everything both on your face and in life better. I have shade four, but I am going to have to buy the next color up soon since it is slightly lighter than my natural skin.

4) Hot Tubs! So I have this really good friend, Leah, who just so happens to have a hot tub. Let me just tell you, that is one fantastic invention. We have been having what we call "Hot Tub Parties" like crazy. So, if anyone wants to send a hot tub this way, go for it! ;)

This afternoon I was asked to help with makeup at a charity fashion show! Yeah, I'm pretty excited, even though I don't know if I will be able to do it yet...But since I thought that it was such a cool opportunity as well as a very unique fashion show, I should tell you guys about it:)

Well first off, my school has these projects that you have to complete to be able to graduate. I am not completely sure about all of the specifics, but pretty much it is supposed to contribute to the community. I have heard about so many different projects, but they can range from fashion shows to loosing weight to changing the engine in your car. Well my friend Leah was supposed to walk in it as well as her sister, Sarah. Well unfortunately Leah isn't walking anymore since her outfit was cut, but I was asked to help with the makeup:)

The show is really interesting,  all of the outfits were styled with clothes from places like Goodwill. I love things like this, so I find this to be the coolest thing ever. Also, the proceeds go to charity! So that makes it even better. As for the makeup? All I know so far is that it is the works, so I am guessing that there will be some great smokey eyes and nude lips:)

I thought that the whole thing was really interesting and since I'm super excited for it, I thought that I should share it with you:) I will make another post with pictures if I end up being able to do it!
